Tintoria di Quaregna

Tintoria di Quaregna was born in Biella in 1955. Operating in what is one of the most noble processing phases of the textile cycle, Tintoria di Quaregna has developed specialization in natural dyes over the past 30 years. Starting from the study of infusions of herbs and leaves and their incredible ability to give color. From the artisanal to the industrial scale, ancient textile dyeing techniques revisited in a modern and ecological key, to create a precious collection of yarns made with noble fibers and dyed only with herbs with fascinating and evocative names, capable of giving colors never seen before.

Jamieson's

Jamieson's is a family business, specializing in the wool of native Shetland sheep for 5 generations. The family is dedicated to the survival of this unique fiber and when each new generation joins the business, this vision becomes their life's ambition.

The business was started in the early 1890s - established by Robert Jamieson in Sandness on the west coast of the Shetland Isles. From his shop he bought or exchanged knitwear from local breeders for goods. The knitted products were then sold to meet the public's demand for Shetland-style socks off the islands' shores.

Myak

During our road trip through the mountains, the feeling was that we were in a world of noble warriors - brave and free. At every bend, that sacred Tibet of the imagination slowly disappeared along with the static façade that can only be seen in postcards and documentaries. Instead, this is a place where Buddhist philosophy meets crazy bikers, where millennial traditions and modernity live under the same tent, where natural colors of animal fiber complement the fluorescent blue polyester suits.
The Tibetan plateau is redesigned by the evolution of its people. And mYak wants to evoke the spirit of this changing land, where small communities of nomadic shepherds unite in a cooperative and follow the advice of an Italian veterinarian.
